“China Mobile Communication Co Ltd” is the largest mobile telecommunications company in China, formerly the mobile business department of “China Telecom“, was established in 2000 in the People’s Republic of China. The company is the world’s largest mobile telecommunications company, with approximately 800 million people as cell phone subscribers in worldwide, and then it is operated under the jurisdiction of the Chinese government, furthermore it is known to be partially owned by “Vodafone Group Plc” in the UK.
The company was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on October 23, 1997, and later on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) also, but announced that it would be delisted from the US market on May 7, 2021. Also, in addition to the mobile communications business, the company is currently focusing on the broadband business and the IoT business, that connects things to the Internet.
